Vordur - the name and the images Top  Previous  Next    Vordur is a word taken from Icelandic. The Icelandic spelling is Vörður which means a guard, keeper, protector, watcher, etc. The Vordur software protects and guards the information about your software installs. The picture that we have chosen to use in Vordur to represent the guard is an image of Leifur Eiriksson who was the first European to discover America in the early 11th century.
